2030 Oakland Energy & Climate Action Plan Neighborhood Leadership Cohort

Community Opportunity 1 min read

The Oakland Climate Action Coalition (OCAC) and the City of Oakland are looking for diverse people of all backgrounds who want to create environmental health and justice for all Oaklanders.

The NLC will be a group of 14 community leaders from all seven Council Districts. As a Neighborhood Leader, you will work alongside the Oakland Climate Action Coalition (OCAC) to host a series of workshops and assemblies, one in each City Council District, from late April through September of this year.

As a Neighborhood Leader, you will engage your community on the issues that matter most to them and directly influence how equity and social justice are included in the 2030 ECAP.

The NLC will be a voice for the community in the ECAP, not only in its drafting, but in its ongoing implementation.
